Moreto-Oak, 2017, D.O.C. Alentejo, Ecostas d'Alqueva

Violetish colour. Aroma: Eucalyptus, mint, red fruits, vanilla and cocoa. Taste is balanced, round with a long finish. Moreto is characteristic from Alentejo, in the left bank of Guadiana, where it’s still cultivated in small ancient grafted vines. This wine has aged in French oak barrels for 12 months in order to highlight the exuberant aromas and tastes of this grape variety, according to the 21st-century taste. Cheers!
