Connoisseur set (3 bottles) – FREE DELIVERY
This case includes :
1 x Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot, Coleraine, 2018, Hawke’s Bay, Te Mata Estate, New Zealand
Saturated, dark ruby with a neon-purple edge, Coleraine ’18 tantalizes with fragrant ripe cherry and fresh, black plum aromatics. The bouquet blossoms over a silky palate laden with lavender, sandalwood, cigar box, juniper and wild blackberry. With typicallyrefined tannins and a modern, pure, ripe-fruit freshness, Coleraine ’18 is energetic, supple and lithe. Balanced, and on point, Coleraine ’18 dances across the senses now, and will do for years to come – classically Coleraine. Coleraine is closed with a natural cork, allowing continued evolution in bottle.

1 x Pinot Noir, Galpin Peak, 2021, Walker Bay, Bouchard Finlayson, South Africa
Pinot Noir is unique as it displays both a delicacy and richness, but it is often quoted as a varietal with a character of its own and carries the crown of being the most terroir-expressive of all grape varieties. The beautiful Hemel-en-Aarde Valley represents that unique combination of soil and climate that exists in only a handful of places where the exact balance provides the perfect expression of this elusive grape.
Perhaps best described as most typically Pinot Noir-like in flavour, rich but elegant. A beautiful wine, deftly balanced with lots of red berry fruit charakter and pretty floral aromas. Its inherent balance and fruity personality promises the development of added flavour dimensions over a period of ageing. Pairs beautifully with red meats, fish, poultry, game birds, tuna and cheese.
Fragrant and seductive red cherry perfume underpins an iron-rich mineral edge. Gently extracted fine tannins enrobe a delicate, yet vibrant structure. It is elegant and accessible, with refined oak and a layered, rewarding finish. Best from 2023 through 2030.
