The Côte-Rôtie Mon Village is one heck of an entry level wine. Medium to full-bodied, silky and polished, it has classic Côte-Rôtie elegance and sexinessas well as notes of black raspberries, hints of cassis, spices and dried flowers.
A great wine for laying down, it is also appreciated in its youth! Drink it anytime over the coming decade.
We recommend this wine, of course, with red meat but we also recommend it with a nice poultry. A poultry supreme with cream and let's be crazy even better, a nice capon with morels!
