Luis Canas
A family-owned winery from Villabuena in Rioja dating back to 1928, Luis Canas offers both tradition and a modern approach to winemaking. It produces great value everyday drinking wines like the young, unoaked Rioja Joven, a medal winner in several international competitions, as well as world beaters like the Hiru 3 Racimos. This was Decanter magazine’s choice as Spain’s best wine and one of the world’s top 12 wines. Since there were 2,200 entries in the contest, including many famous names, this confirmed Luis Canas as one of the top bodegas in Rioja where, of course, the Tempranillo grape is king.
